FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Short answers to the questions players ask most. For anything else, please get in touch.

Is the platform free?

Yes. NZ Game Corner is free to play. There are no purchases, deposits or subscriptions.

Can I win real money?

No. Virtual coins have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged or withdrawn, and there are no prizes of any kind.

Why do I need to verify age?

Although there is no real-money play, the hub is designed for adults and follows New Zealand norms around adult social gaming. We ask anyone entering to confirm they are 18 or older.

How are virtual coins saved?

Coin balances are saved in your browser’s local storage on your device. They are not sent to a server and they are not linked to an account.

What happens if my coins run out?

Use the Reset button on the coin bar to top back up to 1,000. Coins also refresh once per day if your balance is low.

Do I need an account?

No. Every game is playable without an account. The Register and Log in pages are visual previews only.

Are Register and Log in forms functional?

No. They display a friendly notice when submitted and do not store, send or process the values you type.

Does it work on mobile?

Yes. The hub is built mobile-first and works in modern phone, tablet and desktop browsers.

Are outcomes random?

Yes. All in-game outcomes are generated locally in your browser using a pseudo-random number generator. There is no fixed payback or external server logic.

How do I reset local progress?

Use the Reset button on any game, or clear your browser’s site data for nzgamecorner.com. Both will remove your local progress.

How do I report a technical issue?

Email support@nzgamecorner.com with a short description and, if possible, a screenshot. We aim to reply within a few working days.

What if I’m concerned about my gaming habits?

There is no real-money play on this site, but if gambling generally is causing concern, free and confidential support is available in New Zealand. See the Responsible play page for current links.
